Leo ''Papa paw'' Cates, 90, of Horseshoe Lake, Arkansas died Friday, December 22, 2017 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Mr. Cates was a retired truck driver for East Texas Motor Freight, and a WWII U. S. Navy Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Cates, a granddaughter Brandy Cates.
He is survived by a daughter, Wendy Crawford, two sons, Danny Cates and Michael Cates, a sister, Norma Boswell and two grandchildren, Patti Castle and Chris Cates and four great-grandchildren.
Services will graveside at a later date at Crittenden Memorial Park.
As I was looking up family your Dad's obit. Your mom was my dad's sister.

Very sorry for your loss.Leo was one of my instructors at the West Memphis VoTech truck driving class in 1986.He had much wisdom to share from his years on the road.And many funny stories!
