Debra Joy Clarke was born in Tucson, Arizona on September 23, 1953. She lost her long battle with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 64 on Saturday December 23, 2017. Debbie was one of five children. She was married to Bob Clarke for 22 years whom preceded her in death in 2007. Other family members preceding her in death; Biological Mother Katharine Franklin, brother Robert Franklin and Father Bobby Franklin.

Debbie is survived by her son Mike Chesney, daughters Joy Chesney and Diana Clarke, step son Robert Clarke. Grandchildren; Brayden Wires, Lauren Wires, Haylee Wires, Madison Chesney, Alyssa Cook, Amelia Baca, Rob Clarke, Trace Clarke and Alek Brandon. Mother, Norma Franklin, brothers, Chuck Franklin, Scott Franklin and Clay Franklin.

Debbie worked as secretary to the Dean at the UT College of Dentistry until she retired after the birth of her last child to become a full time homemaker. Debbie was a caring and compassionate person that was always willing to go the extra mile for anyone without a second thought and was never a stranger to anyone. She was always a friend to those that needed one and the perfect person to talk to for guidance, direction or just a listening ear. Debbie enjoyed shopping, being outside, planting flowers and playing with the grand kids.

You can now remember again...
We love and miss you Mom/Grammy.

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" ( 3) Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort,  (4 ) who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we get from God.

Michael, Heather, Joy, Lauren, Brayden, Haylee and Madison, your Mom and Grammy was a very special lady! I have many fond memories of her! She had a contagious laughter and a beautiful smile! As hard as it is to lose her, she is now whole and knows everything! I truly understand your pain in the loss of your Mom. Prayers for peace and comfort for you and the family during this difficult time! Love you all.
