Mack Martin, 73, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, February 27, 2020. He was born December 20, 1946 in Houston, Mississippi to the late Ethel and Jim Martin.
Mr. Martin was of the Baptist faith and he worked at Helena Sportswear in West Helena, Arkansas for over 20 years. He recently retired from Arkansas Lighthouse for the Blind in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He is survived by his girls, Cindy Corbitt (Roy) of Bryant, Arkansas and Jerri Swiney (Doug) of Palestine, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Dallas Martin, Kyle Corbitt, Alexis Mallard, and Jillian Mallard; one great grandchild, Kylee Maclynn Copeland; two sisters, Louise Hill (David) of Tupelo, Mississippi and Rita Buford of West Helena, Arkansas; one brother, Johnny Martin (Peggy) of West Helena, Arkansas; mother of his children, Loyce Martin Corbitt of Helena, Arkansas; a special friend, Faye Henderson of Carlisle, Arkansas as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Jim Martin; sister, Jimmie Wages; brother, Aaron Martin.
A visitation for Mack Martin will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home on Monday. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2020 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. Chaplain James Fryer will officiate.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870)572-2571.
So sorry just now seen this about his passing. Him and I. had talk on messenger just weeks before this. I too worked with Mack at Helena sports wear. He was a good man and will be missed by many.

Always an easy going Happy Friend who I loved being around! Know he will be missed by many!
