Johnny Ray Griffin, 82, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 30, 2019. He was born March 29, 1937 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Bryson and Willie Griffin.

Mr. Griffin is a member of First Baptist Church in Helena, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lois Casteel; son, Jerry Griffin (Valerie) of Little Rock, Arkansas; two daughters, Pam Hodges (Russ) and Carol Dollins (Rick) both of Helena, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Tiffany Griffin House, Allie Griffin, Jeremy Griffin, Brad Hodges, Josh Hodges, and Courtney Brocato; a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bryson and Willie Griffin; sister, Dorothy L. Webster; brother, Gerald Griffin.

A graveside service for Johnny Ray Griffin will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m., at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Adam Rowland will officiate.
