Carrie Jean Burt, 87, of West Helena, AR, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019, in Memphis, TN. She was born on November 4, 1932, to William Grady Richmond and Lois McCoy Richmond.
Carrie (Sis) Burt was a wonderful sister, aunt, mother, Mammaw, Great-Mammaw and loved her family and friends with all her heart.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Burt (Donna Lynn) of Batesville, AR and Dale Burt (Pamela) of Memphis, TN, two daughters, Daphne Burt of West Helena, AR and Lynette Murphy of Jonesboro, AR, daughter-in-law, Donna Lee Burt of Cape Coral, FL, two sisters, Luetta Dawson and Lorrie Patton, nine grandchildren, Martye Blaylock, Krystal Warner, Monica Hicks, Craig Murphy, Jason Burt, Aimee Joyner, Lindsey Burt, Christopher Burt and Hank Wood, thirteen great grandchildren, Hayden, Colton, Katie Beth, Jett, Jonathan, Carson, Annabel, Hadleigh, Nick, Jacob, Olivia, Kaylee Jo and Garret, one great great grandchild on the way, Hadley, sisters-in-law, Bonnie, Sandra and Jean Richmond, and many other family, nephews, nieces and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dave C. Burt, Jr., son, Dave C. (Buddy) Burt, III, brothers, Grady Jr., Bob, Henry and Wilson Richmond, sister-in-law, Geneva Richmond.
Funeral services for Carrie Burt will be Saturday, December 7, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Roller-Citizens in West Helena, AR, and visitation December 6, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Services conducted by Shea Hicks.
Pallbearers are Jason Burt, Colton Burt, Christopher Burt, Craig Murphy, Eric Joyner, Jason Warner and Brian Blaylock.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ray Dawson, Jr., Wilson, Vic, Vince, Keith, Chris, Larry, Bobby, Alan and Kyle Richmond.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
