Helen Inez Goodman passed away on November 21, 2019 at age 91. She was born on June 25, 1928 at Strawberry, Arkansas to James Cleve and Edna Wilder Goodwin. Helen graduated from Helena High School in 1946, worked sixteen years as an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and later retired from the Arkansas Employment Division in Little Rock as a manager.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.C. and mother, Edna; husband, Austin Arthur Goodman; grandson, Eddie Wayne James; and great-grandson, Connor Thomas Aikman.
Helen is survived by her two sons, Wayne Truett James (Robin) of West Helena, Arkansas and David Loy Mauch of Bismarck, Arkansas; grandchildren, Mechelle Renee Aikman (Daryl) of Paragould, Arkansas, Dylan Loy Mauch of Fayetteville, Arkansas, McKenzie Leigh Mauch Poe (Blair) of Lake Village, Arkansas, Meredith Scout Mauch of Snowmass, Colorado; great-grandchildren, Devan Renee Aikman of Paragould, Arkansas, Brittany, Dallas, and Cody James of Jacksonville, Florida, Mari Alice Poe of Lake Village, Arkansas; sister, Ruth Elizabeth Mauldin of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and niece, Lea Donyelle Mauldin of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Helen was a member of First Baptist of Helena, Arkansas.
Graveside services for Helen Goodman will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service at 1:00 p.m., at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Adam Rowland will officiate.

God bless Miss Helen's family! I met and knew her through my Aunt France's. Miss Helen was just beautiful inside and outside. Her family was blessed to have her, as well as her friends. She is now with Jesus and having a great time! We just loved her!
