James Lucius Devers, Sr., 86, of Redfield passed away Monday, October 14th in Pine Bluff.
He is survived by four children, James ''Jim'' Devers, Jr. of Morrilton, Jeffery Devers (Gina) of Redfield, Leonard ''Lenny'' Welch (Cricket) of Pontotoc, MS, Cheryl Carroll (Bob) of Round Lake, IL and five siblings, Becky Stokes of West Helena, Betty Rose Devers of Dallas, TX, Dorothy Pruitt of El Dorado, John Devers of Germantown, TN, and George Devers of De Berry, TX. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Michael Hollowell (Brenda) of White Hall, Jimmy Hollowell, Jr. of Redfield, Niki Miller of West Texas, Matt Devers (Kristen) of Benton, and Jayme Devers of Redfield as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Mr. Devers was predeceased by his father Lois Devers, mother Gladys Devers, brothers Russell and Herman Devers and a daughter, Valerie Carper.
He enjoyed the outdoors and particularly loved to coon hunt and fish.
Services will be private.

So sorry to hear the sad news of Mr. Jim's passing. He and Pat were the best in laws I've had. Treated me and my girls like family. My you rest in peace Mr.Jim

We are so sorry to learn of Mr. Devers homegoing. He was a special person and will be missed. We had the privilege of driving him to some of his appointments. He and my husband had a mutual liking for Chinese food especially Chef Lee. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. God bless.
