Freddie Ellis King, 80, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away February 8th, 2019 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Freddie was born in Pemiscot, Missouri September 30th, 1938 to the late Pernola and Virgil King.
He is survived by seven sons, Ricky King (Amanda), Virgil King, Michael King, Jimmy (Ann) King, Tony King, Mark (Sandy) King, Joe (Melanie) King; five daughters, Diann (Jerry) Valdez, Joanna (Doug) Mallard, Tina (Ricky) Newsom, Junita Haggins, and Mindy (Shaq); forty-six grandchildren and forty-six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bell Powel and Teamer Hummel.
Freddie is preceded in death by his wife, Imogene; his parents; five siblings, Charles King, Clara King, Flora King, Virgil King and Jerry King; one grandson, Joshua Jones and one great-grandson, Conner Mallard.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas with burial following at 11:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Park.
