Donald Ray Rose, 81, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019. He was born in Marianna, Arkansas in July 26, 1937 to the late Christine Harris Rose and Wilburn Rose.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; four daughters, Debra Shrum (Jerry) of Kansas, OK, Sherrie Tolar (Rodney) of Fulton, MO; Rhonda Smither (Eddie) of Mulberry, AR and Pam Stringfellow (David) of Tahlequha, OK; ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Wilma Anderson of Southaven, MS, Judy Akins of Rogers, AR and Wanda Smith of Forrest City, AR; one brother, Ronald Rose of Brickeys, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Christine Harries and Wilburn Rose; two grandsons, Tegan Stringfellow and Curtis Bridges; three sisters; Jane Reed, Peggy Vaught, and Kay Webb.
Graveside services for Donald Rose will be held at 2 p.m.,Saturday, February 9, 2019 in LaGrange Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12-2 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Bro. Audie Richardson will officiate.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena (870) 572- 2571.
sorry to hear the death of Mr. Rose he an his family have been life long friend to my family he will be missed prayers to the family an may he rest in peace I know he will meet a lot old friends at the gates.
Donald will be missed he was a good man and loved his family .He is with all our heavenly family.
I pray that God will wrap his loving arms around all the family and give peace and comfort.

Shirley I am so sorry for your loss. I remember when you and Donald got married. we were still living at Snow Lake and so was Nona and Gilbert , It has been quite a while ago but it really doesn't seem that long. It has been a long time since I have seen you all. I guess Nona funeral was when I saw you last. Just know my heart and prayers goes out to you and your family. My momma and daddy were family to Uncle Donald but more than that they were friends, they spent so much time together,there were so many good times that our families shared together!!
