Mary Nell Pyron, age 70, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 in Helena. She was born September 21, 1948 in Helena to the late Ervin and Dorothy Von Kanel. Mrs. Pyron was of the Baptist faith and a retired school teacher from Barton School.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie; two sons, Anthony Pyron of Greenbriar and Jason Pyron (Andrea) of Aberdeen, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Braden and Ella Pyron; sister, Linda Mangold of Lexa; brother, Bobby Von Kanel (Shirley) of Lexa; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Pyron was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service for Mary Nell Pyron will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 10, 2018 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Sam Chaney will officiate.
Pallbearers are Mark Corder, Jimmy Gordon, Billy Jumper, Duddy Atkins, Danny Walker and Larry Smart. Honorary pallbearers are members of Jake Lake Hunting Club.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
