Estelle Loomis, 86, of Poplar Grove, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Loomis was born January 11, 1932 in Phillips County, Arkansas to the late William E. Thomas, Sr. and the late Winnie Alene Duren. She was retired from Union Gas Company where she served as the secretary and bookkeeper for over 25 years.

Mrs. Loomis is survived by two sons, Donnie Loomis (Judy) of Poplar Grove, Arkansas and Ronnie Loomis (Brenda) of Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Tammy Barron, Kristy Loomis, Chance Loomis, Glenn Loomis and Amanda Hadder; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, William Thomas (Ruth) of Poplar Grove; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Ellenburg and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, D.L. Loomis; son, Danny Loomis; and three brothers, William E. Thomas, Jr., Roy ''Bubba'' Thomas and Billy Earl Thomas.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in memory of Estelle Loomis for breast cancer awareness to Susan G. Komen, 5005 LBJ Freeway Suite 250, Dallas, TX. 75244 or to the Trenton Baptist Church, 4400 Hwy. 316, Marvell, AR. 72366.

Graveside services for Estelle Loomis will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Mike Shelley will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena.
