Gregory Pfeiffer, 87, a resident of Paris passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at his home.
He was born July 13, 1932, in Paris to the late William and Elizabeth (Gack) Pfeiffer. Gregory served in the United States Air Force. After his military service he spent his working years as both a dairy farmer and a beef cattle farmer. Gregory was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris and the Knight of Columbus Council 3787 in Paris.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilford and Finton ''Dub'' Pfeiffer and a sister, Henrietta Greb.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Mary Pfeiffer of Paris; four children, Robert Pfeiffer and wife, Sherry of Pottsville, Debbie Cameron and husband, Daniel of Magazine, Delbert Pfeiffer and wife, Debbie of Clarksville and Elbert Pfeiffer of Paris; a total of forty eight grandchildren, thirteen of which are grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren; a brother, Boniface Pfeiffer of Charleston and a sister, Hilda Harvell of Caulksville.
Rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2019, at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 17, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris with Fr. Euguene Luke O.S.B. officiating. Burial with military honors by the United States Honor Guard will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Robert Pfeiffer, Delbert Pfeiffer, Charles Durham, Greg Pfeiffer, Bobby Ray Fondren, Kevin Pfeiffer and Brandon Moore.
