Jesse was a close family friend for many years. We first met after relocating due to Hurricane Katrina. He was always the brightest light in the room. He had such a big heart. Jesse was one of the best men you'd ever meet. My children adored him. We will forever miss Jesse. Prayers and love to his wife Beverly and thier children.

Prayers for Jesse's family and friends. He will be missed by many. He was always making sure my mom was cared for, he would walk her mail to her, take her trash to the trash bin and even detangled her hair one day, he did those things all without be asked... he always called her Mrs. Layla....he was always nice to everyone he met. He will be missed. Prayers

Beverly, so sorry for hearing this. I enjoyed you and Jesse being my upstairs neighbor. Most of the time i couldnt tell when y'all were at home. Y'all were the quitest ones that lived up there. I thought of you and Jesse so many time. He had the biggest and brightest smile. He always lit up the room when he walked in. May God Bless you and comfort you.
