Jesse Hardy Wilson, 52 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in Fort Smith. He was born on October 20, 1966 in New Orleans, Louisiana to his parents, Jesse and Alberta ''Celina'' Hardy.
Jesse worked as a chef in many restaurants in the New Orleans area until being displaced due to Hurricane Katrina. After moving to Paris he worked at the Grapevine restaurant in Paris and Cloyes Gear Company in Subiaco. He loved to cook, write poetry and was a huge LSU Tigers and San Francisco Forty Niners Fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Alberta ''Celina'' Hardy.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Barnes) Wilson of Paris; one step son, Caleb Barnes of Subiaco; his god daughter, Galilee Thomas of Pine Bluff; two sisters, Tyra L. Wilson-Morris and husband Keith of New Orleans and Trina D. Hardy of New Orleans and two brothers, David E. Hardy of New Orleans and William J. Hardy of New Orleans.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Barnes, Bubba Askins, Christopher Barnes, Cory Thomas, John Barnes II and Sal Campos.
Beverly, I'm so very sorry to hear about your loss! I just found out about Jesse, and wanted to let you know that my heart goes out to you, Caleb, and your family!! Jesse was a close family friend for many years. We first met after relocating due to Hurricane Katrina. He was always the brightest light in the room. He had such a big heart. Jesse was one of the best men you'd ever meet. My children adored him. We will forever miss Jesse. Prayers and love to his wife Beverly and thier children.

Prayers for Jesse's family and friends. He will be missed by many. He was always making sure my mom was cared for, he would walk her mail to her, take her trash to the trash bin and even detangled her hair one day, he did those things all without be asked... he always called her Mrs. Layla....he was always nice to everyone he met. Beverly, so sorry for hearing this. I enjoyed you and Jesse being my upstairs neighbor. Most of the time i couldnt tell when y'all were at home. Y'all were the quitest ones that lived up there.
