of North Little Rock, AR
November 2, 1944 - June 15, 2020
Nancy Lou Tucker, 75, of North Little Rock, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020, surrounded by family. She was born to the late Hubert H. and Lula Mae Stephenson on November 2, 1944, in Wilson, North Carolina.
Nancy was a woman of strength who radiated positivity in everything she did. She married the one and only love of her life, Jerry, in 1962. After his passing, the only love of her life was her family and her Lord.
She attended Faith Baptist Church and loved being an active member in the congregation. She enjoyed her Sunday School Class and took advantage of every church outing. To help her enjoy the rest of her days was her constant companion, her dachshund Ruby.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Jerry Tucker; brother, Steve Stephenson; and sister, Jean Stephenson.
Survivors include her sons, Brent and Greg Tucker (Laura); daughter, Stacey House (Tony); grandchildren, Cody, Kaylie (Dustin), Jerry, and Zac; and niece, Channa Trigg (Michael).
The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice, special caregivers (her angels), Julie, Beth, Traci and Robin.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock. A visitation will be held prior on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 P.M at Roller-Owens Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, social distancing must be observed and masks must be worn in attendance.
So sorry for your loss. May God comfort you during this difficult time. Nancy was a wonderful and strong lady. Heaven gained an Angel
I am truly sorry for the loss of Nancy. My heart hurts for you and your family during your time of loss. I wish comfort and peace for you in the days ahead. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Brent, Greg, Stacey and the entire family, we think of you and Nancy at this difficult but thoughtfully precious time. So many just wonderful memories of Nancy and her gracious ways of looking after us all with attention to detail and loving care. I treasure the times.
I first met Nancy at Victory Baptist in Sherwood volunteering in the nursery. Such a nice, fun loving and friendly person who was always smiling and upbeat. She will be missed at Faith Baptist, North Little Rock where she attended until her illness. I also stayed in contact with her with the Circle of Friends and the red hatters. She will be missed by both groups. Rest in peace dear friend. I do know she loved her family dearly.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I really enjoyed working with Nancy.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. Aunt Nancy was a wonderful lady, and I have many fond memories of her. I love all of you.
Praying God cover you and your family with his loving grace and mercy. God bless you all.
Nancy was one of the sweetest friends I’ve ever had. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great friend. One that you always knew was there. So proud to call her my friend. I’ll miss her wonderful smile and beautiful white hair. My heart breaks for her children. She will truly be missed. It’s very peaceful to me that she is with the love of her life once again.
My thoughts and prayers are with Stacey and the entire family at this difficult time.
Nancy took care of all of us at CDI. She knew everyone's family, knowing when it was important for us to get our calls; also letting my large family know how to contact me when I was out of town.
Being Nancy, she also provided us with lots of laughter and joy.
I know she is rejoicing in heaven with Our Lord. We will miss her greatly.
Thanks to Stacey and Hospice for their constant care.
Much love to all.
