Charles ''Charlie'' Preston Tyson, 72, of Sherwood, died Thursday, April 4, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. He was born June 20, 1946 to the late Crew Third and Myrtle Tyson in Bastrop, LA.
Charles is survived by his wife, Carolyn Tyson; son, Charles Preston Tyson, Jr., daughter, Loretta Lynn Pearson; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Zita Warmke, Rodger Tyson, Ernie Tyson, and Wendy Tyson.
Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, AR 72116.
I have been in a fog since he passed.
Still miss him.
There will never be another like him.

Sorry for your loss. Charlie and I were rodeo buddies back in high school. I have nothing but fond memories of him. In recent years we have kept in contact through facebook. He will be missed.

Loved Charlie very much!!! Loved singing with him and listening to him play and sing at our Tyson Christmas get together. He and mama are probably playing some great music together!!!
