Lynette Elaine Olds Davis Hampton, 92, passed away at her home in Maumelle on Saturday, December 1, 2018. She was born on July 25, 1926, in Marmaduke, Arkansas, to Lonnie Earl and Beulah Fay Alcorn Olds.
Lynette spent 36 years in the automotive industry, retiring from Parker Cadillac in 1983. She loved crossword puzzles and worked one every day. She loved watching sports, especially golf and football, and she loved her Razorbacks.
She is preceded in death by her husband, AA "Bates" Hampton; siblings, Lonnie Earl Olds Jr., Shirley Hill, Lyndel Olds and Arlyss Olds.
Lynette is survived by her son, John Morris Davis II (Jan); grandchildren, Amy Davis Davidson (Ronnie) and Dylan Davis; great grandchild, Gryphon Davidson; and two sisters, Melva Bailey and Ilma Renaud (Bill).
The family would like to express heartfelt appreciation to Baptist Hospice, especially Nathan and Gena.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 10825 Financial Centre Pkwy #330, Little Rock, AR 72211.
Services will be scheduled at a later date, under the direction of Roller-Owens Funeral Home.
