Charles Houston Prince, 83, of Maumelle, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018. He was born to Hiram and Nelsie (Martin) Prince on April 24, 1935 in Springfield, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter-in-law, Debra Prince.

Charles worked at the Arkansas Gazette as a Linotype Operator for 26 years until he retired in 1991. He was President of Local Union 92 of the International Typographical Union, enjoyed fishing, working in the yard and watching the Razorbacks.

Charles is survived by his wife, Joyce Gardner Prince; two sons, Charles Prince of Conway, Barry Prince (Becky) of Colleyville, Texas; daughter, Andrea Seidenschwarz (Chad) of Paragould; grandchildren: Shawn, Farity, Connor, Noah, Sawyer Prince; great-granddaughter, Hailey Prince; sister, Shirlene Wood (Lewis) of Royal Oak, MI; brother-in-law, Bill Gardner (Jill) of Bella Vista; nephews, Mark Wood (Heike), Scott Wood (Kim), Graham Gardner; and ex-wife, Meredith Prince.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018, at 9:30 AM at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, AR 72116. Private burial to follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
