Marvin "Toby" Morgan Steele, Jr., born March 3, 1965 in West Memphis, AR, passed away, at age 55, Thursday, March 26, 2020, at his home in Marion, AR, surrounded by his loving and adoring family, after a two and half year long battle with cancer.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents John and Louise Steele of Trumann, AR and his maternal grandparents Tommy and Vester Stewart of Marked Tree, AR.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Shelia Steele; his daughter, Morgan Stewart (Joseph) of West Memphis, AR; his son, Peyton of Jonesboro, AR; his mother, Maudie Steele of West Memphis, AR; his father, Marvin Morgan Steele, Sr. (Donnie) of West Memphis, AR; and his brother, Mike Steele (Barbara) of Marion, AR.
Toby was an extraordinary father and husband, who always put the needs and wants of his family first.
He worked as a district tire store manager for Steele-Guiltner Tire in Marion and West Memphis, AR.
Throughout his life, Toby had many great achievements, including holding positions as the President of the Arkansas Tire Dealer Association, church board member of 1st AG, a member on the Main Street West Memphis Board of Directors, and Grand Marshal of the 20th Annual O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals Drag Racing Series.
Toby was an avid marathon runner, gun enthusiast, and enjoyed kayaking and fishing on the Spring River.

I was sitting around thinking of my father, Leroy Streetman this morning & wondered how Mr Marvin Steele and his sons were doing. Never expected to see this. My heart goes out to Toby's family. I have such fond memories of him as a young boy when our fathers worked together. God Bless.

My prayers for this family...Jody Shirley took me to his business on Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis, TN to get help with my car...and they always took care of me and my old cars, always kind, honest, so dependable, and I was so grateful to him and the men that worked for him helping me.

Toby was an amazing person and boss I was blessed when he gave me a chance to be his employee. He will be greatly missed I feel as I was very blessed to come to know him and mike two of the best people I know praying for everyone
