Mary Frances Pirani, age 89, went to the Almighty Lord on February 20, 2020.

Mary was born on May 17, 1930, in Memphis, TN. She grew up in Crawfordsville, AR. As a 1948 graduate of St. Agnus Academy, she would catch the train on Sunday afternoon in Crawfordsville for the ride to Memphis where she boarded for the week at the Vance Avenue School. She would return home on the train on Fridays.

On August 26, 1950, she married Paul Pirani. They were together for 65 years until his death in September 2015.

Mary spent her married life on a farm outside of Turrell where they raised 6 children.

Mary had a love for travel and her spirit of adventure led her to travel extensively throughout Italy and Ireland. For about ten years she owned and operated a Pappagallo shop in West Memphis, AR, later in her life her love for dogs led her and Paul to breed and race greyhounds.
She had a love for the outdoors and you would often find her working her yard or her many flower gardens. Her flowers and feeders would attract many hummingbirds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and 2 of her children, Steven (Regina) and Tracy (Lynn).

She is survived by her daughter, Karen P. Reinbold (Donald); sons, Philip (Jane), Thad (Carla), and Louis (Angela); nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
