Carl R. Smith, 65, of West Memphis, AR, passed away on February 14, 2020. He was born on June 13, 1954 in Little Rock, AR to Carl D. Smith and Addie L. Thomas.

Carl married his wife, Patti, on September 27, 1974, and together they traveled life's journey. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley. Most of all, Carl loved to spend time with his loving grandchildren. Carl had a way of making everyone feel like they were family. He was a loving husband and father. His life was an example of a caring and hard-working man.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years and best friend, Patti Smith; his daughter, Michele and John Norsworthy; his son, Brit and Heather Smith; his grandchildren, Wade Smith, Britney Norsworthy, Austin Norsworthy, and Tucker Smith; his sister, Jeanette and Steve Fleming; his brothers, Jerry and Nancy Smith, Billy and T.J. Smith, Tim and Marta Smith, and Jim and Sharon Montgomery; his best ''fur'' bud, Bo; as well as a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl D. Smith and his mother, Addie L. Montgomery.
