September 2, 1926 - January 24, 2020
At the age of 93, Annie Lou Ross went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2020. She was born on September 2, 1926 to Willie Roby Gregory and Jessie Yewell Gregory.
Annie played Blanch in the Memphis Community Theater's production of The Golden Girls. She sang and was quite the Thespian, and brought joy and laughter to all who were privileged to see her act.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving family, son, Gregory Allen Ross (Pamela); Grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Ross and Hannah Ann Ross; sisters, Sophie Miller (Carl Miller), Betty Rubino (Gene Rubino) and a host of others.
Annie was preceeded in death by her parents; her brother, Willie Roby Gregory Jr. (Myrtle Gregory); and her sister, Margaret Cace.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
