Linda Harlow

of Marion, AR

February 10, 1946 - January 16, 2020

Linda Harlow of Marion, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2020. She was born on February 10, 1946 in Tyronza, Arkansas.
Linda was a devoted and faithful member of the First Baptist Church of West Memphis. She was a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to anyone she came into contact with. Her motto in life, much like her son's, was ''Happy-Happy Joy-Joy.'' She was the most amazing mother and we are all better for knowing her.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Oline Counce; her brother, Carl Counce from Marked Tree; and her son, James E. Fleming of Marion, Arkansas.
Linda is survived by her children, Deana (Joey) Maddox of Marked Tree; and Candy Fleming of Horseshoe Lake; her former husband, Steve Harlow of Sardis Lake; her brothers J.L. (Cindy) Counce, Jimmy (Linda) Counce, George (Audrey) Counce, Hoppy (Patsy) Counce, all of Marked Tree; and David (Sherry) Counce of Marion, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Leelinda Maddox, Robin Fleming, and Jamie Simmons; and one great grandson, Maddox Willis.
She had many nieces, nephews, and cousins and we can't leave out her fur babies.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cancer Research Organizations.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 24, 2020, at 12:30pm at First Baptist Church of West Memphis with a memorial service immediately following.

Dear Family, I did not realize until it was to late to attend the service for Linda. I had been told another day and then I went to look on the internet today, the services had already begun. The video will have to serve as my celebration of her life. It showed a beautiful young woman and as she progressed through her days here on earth. There are many questions I have re: her life, her children, her job etc. She and I became friends at church just this past year. I am sad because I did not know her better, but I'm thankful I knew her as long as I did. She began to tell me she was ill and before I knew what was really going on, our Lord called her home. I suppose I am thankful she did not suffer for years and years, but I am selfish that I wish I had had more time to have spent with her. The pictures in the video to me, show that she was a loving person. I do not know her family, but I hope to get to know her girls soon. I know I'll see her again, and that is a joy knowing she accepted whatever God chose to do with her life. That was one of the last statements she told me that whatever God would do with her being sick, it would be okay. I will keep her family in my thoughts and prayers in the coming days as I have been doing in her last days. May God be glorified with her life.

To all of you left to cherish Linda's memory. Linda was all the good you could describe her by, She loved her family with her all. I will always remember her, and with only the love and good she showed to others. May God be with you all.. This was a very sweet memorial video of Linda and showed memories of her and the ones she loved. Thanks be to the Lord for her life and knowing she is in no more pain is too a blessing.. I will hold to memories of her but mostly see the last time we met, not long ago, at Kroger, we took time to visit on that day and I will hold tight to this..
Love, Gary and family
