Billy Jack Wadkins, age 90 of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019. Billy, known to most as Bill, was born January 1, 1929 in Decatur, Illinois to parents Cecil and Flow Wadkins. He was the widower of his first wife of 50 years, Norma Jane Wadkins. Bill was blessed to have then met and married Shelley Wadkins. Bill was called home to be with his savior after 25 wonderful years with Shelley. He was a long-time member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Memphis and owner of Bill's Tile in the city. Bill was known to have a free spirit, young at heart and supportive of his family in their endeavours.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Shelley, two sons; Sonny Wadkins (Barbara) of Marion, Arkansas, Tim Wadkins (Gwen) of Houston, Texas, four daughters; Vanieca Bennett (Clark) of Jackson, Tennessee, Cynthia Vinick (Barry) of Collierville, Tennessee, Regina Cavanaugh (Michael) of Collierville, Tennessee and Darla Sanborn (Mark) of Denver, Colorado. Bill also leaves his brother, Jerry Wadkins of Lakeland, Florida. Bill will be deeply missed by seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren who will forever cherish the memories they have of him. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Norma Jane Wadkins, his brother Dean Wadkins and his sister, Edna Mae Norris.
