Nellie Ruth Cannon passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Willowbend Nursing Home in Marion, Arkansas. Ms. Cannon was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late Louis Smith and Barbara Doctor Smith on July 19, 1938.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Lawrence Leon Cannon; parents, Louis and Barbara Smith; and brother, Francis Edward Smith.

She is survived by a brother, Charles (Mary) Smith of Rose Bud, Arkansas. 3 Sisters, Bertha (Jerry) Baker of Austin, Arkansas, Margaret (Benny) Whitaker of West Memphis, Arkansas and Barbara Williams (Thomas) of Austin, Arkansas. 2 Sons; Robert (Michelle) Cannon of Tull, Arkansas, John (Shara) Davis of Bauxite, Arkansas. 2 Daughters; Sandra (Raymond) Williams of Kentucky, Virginia (John) Harvin of Turrell, Arkansas. 13 Grandchildren, 27 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.

A Memorial Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas at 10AM
