Melvin Aughenbaugh passed away on July 13, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born February 21, 1962 to William and Mildred Aughenbaugh in Fort Worth, Texas.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Aughenbaugh.
Those left behind to cherish his memory is his son, Will Aughenbaugh; three daughters, Caley Felts (Wren), Brittany Brewer (Matt), Megan Smith (Aaron); five grandchildren, Lundyn, Harper and Henli Brewer, Hattie Wren Felts and Finley Smith; two brothers, Bill and Gordon Aughenbaugh; special friend, JoAnn Boozer.
Melvin loved his family more than life itself. He enjoyed spending time with his children, and especially his grandchildren. He truly lived for the moments he had with spending time with his family.
Melvin always saw the good in people by overlooking and forgiving their faults. He was blessed with a gift for making people smile, even to the last days.
Visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N Pine Street, West Memphis, Arkansas, from 6pm until 8pm, on Monday, July 15, 2019, with the funeral service to follow on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 10 AM. Interment will be at Crittenden Memorial Park, 2206 US-64, Marion, Arkansas.

John and I want to send our deepest sympathy to Melvin's family. His obituary is so right. Melvin never met a stranger and always could bring a smile to your face no matter what. Letting you know you all will be on our minds, in our hearts and most of all in our prayers.
Joann, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I know how much Melvin,loves you. He is a great man and he would always make u smile when you was down and out.i know Grandma Shelby and Mom also loved him so much.Melvin,you will be missed. Love you and Jo very much.We will meet again.
Mel was a good man who never had anything bad to say about anyone unless it needed to be said. He was always fun to talk to and had a great sense of humor. Missing you already bro. I'll see you again on the other side.
