Elaine Vera Johnson, age 88, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in West Memphis, Arkansas Elaine was born September 11, 1930 in Verdigre, Nebraska to parents Rudolph and Tillie Pavlik. Elaine later in life met and marries her love, Charles Johnson. Together they raised their own family in a happy and loving home. Elaine was a homemaker and a faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in West Memphis. She will be remembered as devoted, loving and caring wife, mom and grandmother.
Elaine is survived by her husband Charles and two daughters; Carla Wharton (Bill) and Dena Mitcham (John), all of West Memphis. She also leaves her sister, Blanche Skokan. She will be deeply missed by three grandchildren; Blake Johnson, Meagan Johnson and Trey Johnson and her daughter in law, Kim Johnson Owsley who will forever cherish their own personal memories they each had of Elaine. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, her son Charles Johnson Jr., six brothers; Leo, Louis, Arvey, James, Edwin and Rudolph Pavik as well as two sisters; Edith Rudolph and Jane Horacek.
