Ronnie Edward Nichols, 68, of West Memphis, AR, passed away at the VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN, on March 30, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lebon and Mildred Nichols; his 2 sisters, Bobbie Griffith and Jenny Wolfe; and his nephew Terry Griffith. Ronnie leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Maushell Nichols; his 3 sons, Mark Nichols of Horseshoe Lake, AR, Billy Collins and his wife Becky of Petersburg, IL, and Dusty Collins and his wife Angel of Hillsboro, MO; his daughter, Stephanie Pettigrew and her husband Lee of San Antonio, TX; his 9 grandchildren: Michael, Caitlyn, Elizabeth, Jon, Summer, Skyler, Gracie, Emma, and Kenny; his great-grandson, Sawyer; and his sister, Debbie Harris and her husband Jerry of Forrest City, AR. Ronnie was a truck driver for AOC for 29 years, and he loved spending time with his family and friends, singing karaoke, and especially telling jokes.
He was a member of many organizations, including a life time member of the West Memphis V.F.W., the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion, and the 40 & 8.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, 6PM to 8PM, with a funeral service following on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at 11AM, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N Pine Street, West Memphis, AR. Interment will be at Crittenden Memorial Park, 2206 US-64, Marion, AR.

So sorry for your loss. Ronnie was a great guy and a laugh a minute anytime I was around him. He's hanging out with Griff again and having fun. Just hang in there and we'll all be there with them again one fine day.

Ronnie was one of the best ! I was so fortunate to have known him at the FOE and the American Legion. He was a good friend to all those who knew him. I am so sorry for your loss. God bless you all.
Bill always called him his Brother and Pal, if you ever needed a friend he was it. He loved his family dearly and he love music. He always loved his Veteran Brothers. R.I.P Ronnie you will never be forgotten!!
