Sylvia Jean Coon, 84, of Marion, AR, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House, Jonesboro, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Vernon and Anna Mae Smith; and her son, Larry Joseph Coon. Sylvia is survived by her 3 sons, Frederic Coon (Debbie), William Michael Coon (Kate), and Thomas Coon (Patty); and her daughter, Brenda Jean Easterby (Steven). In addition, Sylvia is survived by her 4 grandchildren, Richard Summerford, Tommy Coon, William Phillip Coon, and Jean Easterby; and her 7 great-grandchildren, Camryn Johnson, Steven Johnson, Conner Jackson Walker, William Phillip Coon, Jr., Thomas Summerford, Madison Summerford, and Dalton Coon.
Sylvia immensely enjoyed music, was a naturally talented artist, and loved her family very much.
Visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N Pine Street, West Memphis, AR, on Friday, February 15, 2019, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a funeral service immediately following. Interment will be Crittenden Memorial Park, 2206 US-64, Marion, AR.

Though I have only known her a short time, I am honored to have called this woman friend. She was a blessing to those who knew and loved her. I will see her in Heaven one day and hope she will save me a seat next to her. RIP wonderful friend.
