John Edward Riley, 67, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away on November 17, 2018 at Methodist University Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on May 24, 1951 to Munford and Helen Riley in Memphis, Tennessee.

He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Carol Riley of West Memphis, Arkansas; two sons, Justin Riley and Kellie VanVickle of West Memphis, Arkansas and Crawfordsville, Arkansas; Jeff Riley (Susan) of Northaven, Tennessee; one brother, Charles Riley of Overton, Nevada; one sister, Terry Elliot of Seward, Alaska; three grandchildren, Gavin Moore and Amy Moore of Northaven, Tennessee and Jordan Riley of West Memphis, Arkansas; and a host of nephews.

The family would like to send many thanks to the friends and caretakers at Broadway Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center of West Memphis, Arkansas.

Carol my heart goes out to you and your family. The Riley family will always have a place in my heart. It was a joy to work with Johnny for over 3 years. I’ll always remember our smiley Riley!

Carol and family, I am sorry that I didn't know about Johnny until after his service. You have my deepest sympathy. I admire all of you for your steadfast love and care through his long illness.
