Ernest Eugene Bryant, 70, of Heth, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Memphis, TN.

He loved playing and watching sports, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. However, above all else, he loved spending time with his family and friends and watching his grandchildren grow. He was a very strong and outspoken man but had a heart of gold that gave to many.

He was a proud veteran of the US Navy and a United States Post Office retiree.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Bryant of Heth, AR; one daughter, Tracie Marlin of Heth, AR; one son Ernest E. Bryant Jr. (Kim) Bryant of Wynne, AR. Four grandchildren, Brandon Wayne (Marissa) Marlin, Collin Seth Marlin, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Bryant and Katherine Isabella Bryant. Two sisters, Rita Bruno of Olive Branch, MS and Judy Byars of Southaven, MS.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Les & Jessie Bryant.
