Patsy Jean Healy 82 of Searcy passed away at her home January 15, 2020. She was born May 29, 1937 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Robert Cecil Yarbrough and Trudie (Peugh) Yarbrough.

Patsy was a retired school teacher from the Pangburn School District and retired after 25 years of service. She enjoyed gardening and was proud of her flowers, she also enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. She was a strong willed person who loved her family dearly, as well as, her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Ruben Dane Healy and one brother Robert ''Elton'' Yarbrough.

She is survived by two daughters; Rachel Sheppard (Kevin) and Michele Moffitt (Tim) both of Searcy; four grandchildren Dustin Moffitt (Sarah), Aaron Moffitt, Kaylee Tharp (Brandon) and Garrett Sheppard as well as a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2020 at First Assembly of God in Searcy with Service on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 3:00PM at First Assembly of God. Interment will follow at Foster Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs Healy was one of my favorite teachers.She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. May God give you all peace and comfort during this difficult time. May she rest in peace.

We are so sorry to hear of Mrs. Patsy’s passing. She has been a customer of ours for years (Mason Heat & Air). We will miss her. When she would call, I always knew it was her when she began talking. Your family is in our prayers.

I have so many fun memories of Patsy throughout the years at church functions. She was always laughing and making others laugh. Praying for Michelle and Rachel during this difficult time. May God comfort you.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Healy's passing!!! Not only was she a wonderful teacher, but one of the absolutely nicest people that you could ever meet. Both she and Dane were great people! May she rest in peace and enjoy Heaven! My sincerest condolences to Michelle and the entire family!!!
