Carolyn Warren

of Searcy, AR

June 15, 1955 - December 22, 2019

Carolyn Warren, 64, of Searcy, Arkansas left this earth to be with Jesus on Sunday, December 22, 2019. She was of Christian faith and attended The River in Judsonia. She was born on June 15, 1955 in Elaine, Arkansas to Claude and Ruby Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Warren, Rodney Warren, and Kerry Warren; and brothers-in-law, Jim Looney and Roger Treat.

Carolyn was a very hardworking farmer for most of her life and spent the last 20 years changing the lives of many children through D.H.S. She loved to crochet, sing, text, and play bingo and other games on her phone. As Billy Graham and mom would say, "I am more alive than ever today, I only changed my address. I am in the presence of God."

She was very spoiled by her children who loved and adored her. She was both mother and father and did it well. Her pride and joy were her grandbabies. She loved her nieces and nephews like her own and was the self-proclaimed "favorite aunt." She loved her family and friends deeply and she never met a stranger. She always had a huge smile and a big hug. You never left her house without getting hugs and kisses. Every day she told you she loved you to the moon and back. She was the light in the darkness and the peacemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Shannon (Chuck) Lomerson, Shianni (Joshua) Cowell, and Shonya (Witt) Wilson; one son, Jeremy (Kayla) Warren; six siblings, Ann (Clyde) Lovette, Elvis (Francis) Warren, Brad (Sharon) Warren, Don (Connie) Warren, Sheila Looney, and Theresa Treat; sister-in-law, Lisa Warren; twelve grandkids, Cesilee (Colby), Brooklan, Andrew, Tori, Bo, Kenley, Keegan, Cash, Jasmine, Jessica, Tanner, and John Luke; four great-grandkids, Lakynn, Emmie, Brayden, and Amaya; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of friends; and her beloved cat, Baby Bread.

Family visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 followed by visitation for guests from 10:00-11:00 a.m at The River in Judsonia, Arkansas. Carolyn's Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Carolyn had a special spirit about her that brightened the day of anyone she came in contact with. Her special mix of caring love, genuineness and humor is becoming more and more rare these days and she will be missed by many. Whenever I worked with her, I had confidence the kids under her watch would be well cared for, and comforted. Condolences to her loved ones - she had many.

Carolyn and I were classmates in Elaine School from the 3rd-9th grade. I have many fond memories of her during those years. Although I didn't see her often after those school years, I enjoyed following her activities through Facebook. I'm praying for her family and other friends as we mourn our loss and celebrate her life.

Truly one of the greatest ladies I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! We had such great times during our years together at DHS. I will miss her larger than life smile and that hilarious sense of humor. Most of our conversations were about her kids and grandkids. They were her “everything” per her own words! Love you all and am praying for your comfort. She is in the presence of her Savior and we will meet again!

Oh my dear friend. The world has lost a true treasure while heaven gained a glorious angel. My family would have never made it thru without your kindness towards little Joshua and all of us. I will cherish the memories you were such a big part of forever. This is not goodbye but we'll meet again soon. I love you Miss Carolyn and will continue to pray for your babies. Can't wait to see you again in glory.

Carolyn you will truly be miss by us all. I remember her working on the farm there wasn't nothing she couldn't drive or fix. She always said there wasn't time to wait in the fields on someone to come by back then there were no cell phones. She was a hard worker and always in overalls unless it was church time then she would be in a dress. Carolyn isnt in no more pain.To all the Warren family thoughts and prayers from Bama.
