We lived by Ralph and Eleanor on Kentucky Road. Wonderful, fun couple. I always loved visiting with her. She had a beautiful charm necklace that she frequently wore. Soon after they moved I toook all my charms off my bracelet and put them onto a necklace like Mrs. Theobald hadâ¤. I will always remember her telling me stories abt her children. She loved her family. Our condolences are with all of you.
We've lost a cousin, and good friend.
Ellie was Doss's favorite and closest cousin. As youngsters of grade school age, they would spend summer vacation time together visiting each other-two weeks at Ellie on the farm in Kilbourne, IL and 2 weeks with Doss in Chicago.
We travelled with Ellie and Ralph on cruises to England, Russia, Alaska and the many Carribean islands. We will always remember trips to Branson and shows, poking around Dicks 5 and 10 store and eating catfish at the Farm House Restaurant.
We were never bored when visiting each other wherever we lived at the time, be it Quincy, Palm Harbor, Northfield or Hot Springs. There was always Ralph's command-"Let's play some bridge."
It's been a good run. RIP
