Howard Doyle Bailey, Sr., 84, of Kensett, Arkansas passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019. He was born in Kensett on January 6, 1935 to Doyle and Verla Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse, Lois Bailey; and son, Steven Craig Bailey. He is survived by his son Howard Bailey, Jr. and wife, Sheila of Kensett.
Howard was a member of the U.A.W. for over 30 years and worked at Kohler Manufacturing in Searcy. He was also a retired firefighter. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to tell jokes and play pranks on people. Howard was a loyal family man and friend and will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. The family asks that all who attend the service, please dress casual in honor of Pop's wishes.

You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. He meant alot to me and was a great man . He will be missed a great deal. Lots of great memories I have of him. We laughed and joked everyday for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with y’all Howard Jr. and Sheila. Lots of great memories fishing and hunting with Pops! I always loved asking him where he caught those huge stripers, and he’d grab his upper lip and tell me “right there†and then grin really big! Pops will be missed. Love y’all 💜
