On February 5, 2019, Marie Crotts of Judsonia, AR, departed this earthly world to join Christ. Born Bonnie Marie Algood on November 1, 1948 in Parkin, AR to Chester and Mae Bell Algood, she was the 5th of thirteen children. In July 1966, she married the love of her life, Cecil L. Crotts and they enjoyed 53 years of love and happiness as devoted partners. In 1967, they welcomed their only son, Terry L. Crotts who would gift Marie with her ultimate joys in life, her three grandchildren.

Despite her petite frame, Marie was a force with which to be reckoned. There was not a skill she could not master, even helping Cecil build five of their homes with their own hands. By trade, she practiced as a beautician for just over twenty-five years. Marie took great pride in being the best in the area and stayed on the forefront of new technologies. She was rewarded with success for her dedication and ultimately owned her own salon in Mesquite, TX with two of her sisters.

Though she was a successful business woman, it was the role of devoted wife, mother and Memaw in which Marie excelled the most. She loved to make sure everyone was taken care of and to dote on those around her including her nieces, nephews, siblings and in-laws. She did her very best to be there for anyone who needed her. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dale Algood. She is survived by her husband, Cecil L. Crotts of Judsonia, son Terry L. Crotts of Crosby, ND, grandchildren: Kierstahn Crotts of Houston, TX, Cade Crotts and Conner Crotts of Crosby, ND, siblings: Don Allgood of Witchita Falls, TX, Brenda Arnold (Wes) of Cleveland TN, Linda Baney of Cabot, AR, Retha Shook of El Paso, AR, Ronnie Allgood (Lucy) Richmond, CA, Ricky Allgood (Kathy) of Fountain Inn, SC, Sherry Hancock (Randy) of Piedmont, SC, Chris Glowski (Herman) Judsonia, AR, Steve Allgood (Ann) Springdale, AR, Suzie Summers (Jerry) of Judsonia, Dennis Allgood (Etta) of Judsonia, In-laws: Mary Hudson, Hazel Girkin and Charles Crotts (Jessie) all of Searcy, AR.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Visitation will be held at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, Friday, February 8, 2019 from 1:00-2:00PM with the Memorial Service to follow.
