Wayne Derrell Williams 86, of Searcy passed away on January 10, 2019. He was born on November 4, 1932 to the late Wayne and Floy Hamilton Williams in West Point, Arkansas.

Derrell had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed playing practical jokes. He also enjoyed fishing, loved his family and friends and enjoyed time spent with them. He was a former mayor of West Point.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dana Williams, great grandson Eli Rowe, and one sister Ella Jean Thompson.

Left to cherish his memory is his son Mark Williams of Searcy AR, granddaughter Danielle Rowe (James) of Albion AR, great grandson Michael Rowe Albion AR, one niece Teresa Hinson (Dale) of Blytheville AR, his caregiver Erma, along with a host of other family and friends.
