I’m just now hearing of this so I won’t be able to make the service. I send my deepest empathy and condolences to the rest of the family. I truly wish I had known so I could have personally paid my respects to her. Grandma Jo was one of the first to accept me into the family and I will always treasure the memories made. I just wish she could’ve met her great-granddaughter, Lillian. I will tell her of the great matriarch that she descends from.
This woman left me with wonderful childhood memories. I truly believe that my love of music came from her. She'd always write songs, play on her guitar, have me sing the songs she wrote....it was a lot of fun. I love you grandma jo. I hope the angels are enjoying your music just like I did.
You are one of the foundations of our family.
You will be missed.
May your god welcome you.
Your nephew,
Little Bert
