George Robert Griffin, was born to George Robert and Georgia Greene Griffin, on April 12, 1933 in Ulm, Arkansas and passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018.

Mr. Griffin was member of the Faith Baptist Church in Cabot. He enjoyed spreading the word of God with all he met. He taught Sunday School for a number of years. By trade he was a retired Tool and Die Maker. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed fly fishing, working on projects with his sons. There wasn't anything the three of them couldn't fix or build. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 60 years, Bessie Griffin, two brothers, Paul Griffin and James Griffin.

He is survived by his wife, Vernell Griffin, two sons, Leslie Griffin (Kimberly), Bradley Griffin (Kayla), four grandchildren, Tasheena Griffin, B. J. Griffin (Samantha), Joseph Griffin, Harley Griffin, four great-grandchildren, Dylan and Zachary Adams, Harper and Mary Griffin, a sister, Geraldine Burgess, many nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation from 10 AM until Service Time at 11 AM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy on Friday, June 1, 2018. Interment to follow at White County Memorial Gardens.
