Matthew Lee Bowles, 34, passed away at home from a lifelong illness on Sunday, July 12, 2020.
Matt was born on February 2, 1986 and was a lifelong resident of Osceola, AR. He enjoyed playing his drums, spending time with family and friends and always had a big smile and hug for everyone he met.
He leaves his parents: Lee (BJ) Bowles and Sherri (Michael) Godsey, family members: Dylan Bowles, Whitney Bowles and William Cassidy, Morgan George, and Megan George; one niece: Mia Bowles; and two nephews: Bryce Bowles and Carson Cassidy.

Matt was an awesome classmate and friend to many people. He always had a smile on his face and was always laughing and majority of the time it was due to mischief but he was an awesome person and he always made our days worthwhile Osceola High School.. I was in ALE and ROTC with Matt and it was never a dull moment with Matt.. condolences to the family, friends, and classmates

Matt was one of my students at Osceola High. He was joy! He kept me on my toes, but he had that kind spirit that teachers never forget. Even after graduation, he would see my sister at Dollar General and ask about me. I was crushed when I heard of his passing, but I know God has a better place for him.
