Dixie Lee Goble

of Little Rock, AR

August 6, 1935 - June 30, 2019

Dixie Lee Goble passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019. She was born August 6, 1935, to Dixie and Daisy Montague. Dixie was known to many people as Meme. Over the course of her life, she endured numerous tragedies yet she always found a way to keep a joyful heart. She believed in the Lord, family and hard work. She was a devoted wife to Ronny, bookkeeper for the family farm, mother, grandmother and friend. Meme's capacity to love was a shining example of her unconditional and selfless love. Her infectious laughter and smiles will be missed by all. Meme was known for her common sense approach to everything. In her younger years you could find her on a horse, at the lake, or wherever Ronny wanted to go. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronny, daughters Barbara and Vickie, and grandson Jay Brooks. She is survived by granddaughters Karen Cox Wood (Steve) and Jenna Cox Pirani (Dino); great-grandchildren Kayleigh Wooten, Dean Pirani and Jackson Pirani. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Dear Karen Cox, and Jenna Pirani; I thought the world of your grandmother, Meme. I would visit with her at home, church and I prayed for her often during the many tragedies she endured. Such a strong, sweet soul❤️ My heart hurts for you young ladies because you have had to endure tragedies yourselves ... Pease know that I continue to pray for both of you and if you ever need or want to vent or just talk, please email me and I’ll give y’all my number. I love y’all ❤️

Dixie was my friend and like a family member basically my entire life. I can truthfully say that I have never known a more generous, more loving, and more positive person. Her never ending gifts of support and advice to me and my family were vital.

It is my loss that I cannot be there today to honor her life. To the family that remains on this earth, be like Dixie and you'll have a blessed life.

To Dixie - goodbye old friend- I'll see you on the other side.

with Love
Rick
