Wilbert Stone, Sr, 82, of Luxora, passed away January 10, 2019 in Lake City, AR. He was born September 3, 1936 in Lucy, TN to William and Eula Stone. He was a Towboat Captain for many years. Survivors include his wife: Edna Stone; sons: Billy Stone of Manila, Randell (Hideko) Stallings of Japan, Billy (Julie) Stallings of Savannah, GA and Wendell (Jan) Rackley of Keiser; daughters: Brenda Carson of Jacksonville, AR, Terri Hoopingarner of Cave City, AR and Wendy McCamey of Leachville, AR; 20 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and brother: Howard Stone of Rockford, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and four brothers.
Sure do miss you Papaw. You taught me so much about life and made me the man I am today. Until we meet again, love you always.
I love you Paw-paw. I miss you. You were the father-figure for me growing up. I'll cherish the memories of visiting you on the farm, riding the tractors, playing with the goats, seeing the chickens and donkies. My only grandpa, rest in peace. â¤â¤
I have grown so close to you these past years while staying the weekend. You were/ are my rock. I miss you each and every day my sweet daddy. Love you forever- your baby.
Rest easy Paw Paw. I'm sorry I didn't make it down to see you in time like I had planned. I hope you know I still love you dearly, and will always consider you my father figure. Thank you for always being there, and loving me and my kiddos(no matter how many I have). We all love you so much, and I hope that you're not in anymore pain. I'll see you when I get there. I lived with you and lucille , most of my life . all my childhood memories , involve you and lucille , billy ,terri , brenda , i will always cherish those good memories ..... prayers for my family, and the kids....... in loving memory ....... Mary .....
