Mary E. Fisher of Osceola, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2018 at the Osceola Therapy and Living. She was born July 18, 1935, in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Oscar and Lucy (Phillips) Kizer. She was a graduate of Osceola High School, married 1st Lt. James R. Fisher of the state of Kansas while he was stationed at the Blytheville Air Force Base. They were assigned to Lyon, France where Lt. Fisher was killed while piloting an aircraft. Mary returned to Osceola from Lyon. Mary worked at the Fairly Clinic and at various time at H&R Block in Osceola, she was administrative assistant to the Mayor in Luxora, Arkansas where she had a knack for solving problems about utility bills and services for customers. She made many friends among city employees and various residents of Luxora. Survivors include her brother: Frank Kizer, of Bartlett, Tennessee, Nieces and nephews: Julie Kizer of Hagerstown, Maryland, Jane Coburn of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Jean Frost of Marietta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband: Lt. James R. Fisher, son Michael Fisher and her parents.

Aunt Mary was my mothers younger sister. We were far apart and how I enjoyed our telephone conversations. You will be sorely missed. How I will miss hearing that Frrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaances

So sorry about Mary. She was a sweet person. Prayers for her family
