Grant Michael Stricklen, 25, was born September 24, 1993 to Laura West Cook and Clay Stricklen in Little Rock, Arkansas. Grant passed from this life into the next to join his beloved mother on August 21, 2019.

Grant is survived by his maternal grandmother Judith Jaymes; his life partner Tiffany Henderson and their 5 year old daughter, Laura Kathlyn; his father, Clay Stricklen and his life partner Margo Del Real; great aunts, Sonja Broaddus and Sondra Ragland; sisters, Tasha Stricklen, Margo Sisk, and Teshia Valerio; brothers, Nick Cook, Patrick Stricklen, Mathew Swader, and Antonio Del Real; as well as beloved friends turned family, Louise and Josh Green as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends too numerous to mention.

Grant loved spending time with his family and friends but his favorite role was being a daddy.

Grant accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on June 13, 2003 and was baptized on June 29, 2003 at New Lebanon Baptist Church in Cairo, Mississippi.

Pallbearers include Patrick Stricklen, Nick Cook, Hunter Stricklen, Antonio Del Real, John Westmoreland, and Jake Mayfield.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2019, from 6:00-7:30 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Timbo, Arkansas. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Timbo, Arkansas with Brother Danny Robbins officiating. Interment will follow the service at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to an account set up at Centennial Bank in Grant Cook Stricklen's name for funeral expenses and for his daughter Laura.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
