Michael (Mike) Lynn Arnold, age 61, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 13th, 2019, after a fierce battle with cholangiocarcinoma cancer, in Mountain View, Arkansas, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Born July 28th, 1958, to father, Ravonne Sonne Arnold and mother, Tona Faye (Nolan) Arnold in Kennett, Missouri; he grew up in Memphis, Tennessee with his sister Yvonne and spent years living in various states before settling down for 29 years in Colorado where 27 of those years were shared with wife, Christine and retired in Mountain View, Arkansas. Before retirement, Mike proudly served six years in the United States Navy and owned three successful businesses, the last being Affordable Fence Company Inc. located in Arvada, Colorado. He was a member of Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada.
Mike lived life to the fullest through the simple pleasures. He had an unwavering and dedicated faith and relationship with The Lord. He enjoyed camping, had a love for riding motorcycles, found solace in fishing and above all, passionately cared for and spent most of his time in the company of his family. A loving father, he never missed a school sports game and discovered a joy for action photography capturing every moment of those games. Mike was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Christine Dee (Schmidt) Arnold, his children, son, Charles Jason Arnold and wife Stephanie Arnold (daughter-in law), son, Michael Ravonne Arnold, daughter, Nicole Christine DeLellis, daughter, Dominique Ashley Yvonne Arnold, daughter, Alexis Brooke Arnold, son, Alex Andrew Arnold, and his grandchildren Brittney Arnold, Weston Arnold, Gabriel Arnold, Chloe Arnold, and Hailey Arnold. He is also survived by sister, Yvonne Carol Dressen and husband Gary Dressen (brother-in law), aunt, Betty Flaherty, cousin, Janice Paul and husband Tom Paul (best friend to Mike), mother-in law Irene Fresquez, and brother-in law, Gilbert Shannon Jr.
Honorary pallbearers are Jason Arnold, Michael Arnold, Alex Arnold, Tom Paul, Gilbert Shannon, and Gary Dressen.
A celebration of life is Tuesday, August 20, 2019, 11:00 AM at The Arnold's home in Mountain View, Arkansas. The eulogy in Mountain View, AR will be delivered by friend, Ron Ricketts.
Military honors in Arkansas will be provided by the Stone County Honor Guard.
A graveside service will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, 11:30 AM with full military honors. Inurnment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
