Oris Sands, 67, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Waters of Mountain View in Mountain View, Arkansas. Oris was born on February 19, 1952 in Fifty Six, Arkansas to the late Albert and Ernestine (Thomas) Sands. Oris was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Fifty Six, Arkansas and worked for many years as a custodian.
Oris is survived by his brother, Leslie Sands of Marshall, Arkansas; cousins, Jack Kendrick, Gladys Tinkle, and Muriel Holt, along with many extended family and friends.
Oris was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ernestine (Thomas) Sands.
A visitation is Friday, July 5, 2019, 10:00 AM 12:00 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Oris will be cremated and inurned by his parents at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

Oris Sands, my Cousin, by my Mom's sister Aunt Ernestine Sands. Lost all contact with family in Mountain View and Fifty Six upon my mom's death; Raydene Nash; daughter of Ray and Bertie Thomas of Mountain View.
