Carrol Wayne MooreI am a Veteran.

of Mountain View, AR

June 28, 1942 - June 19, 2019

Carrol Wayne Moore passed in peace on June 19, 2019 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born to Woodrow and Pauline (Morrison) Moore on June 28, 1942 at Onia, Arkansas. Wayne was a retired veteran of the United States Air force having spent over 20 years in the service of our country. After his retirement from the military he began a career as an administrator of a residential care facility, and eventually the owner of Hidden Valley Cabins.

Wayne was an incredibly passionate man with a deep appreciation for family, friends, and a good junk sale. He was a loving person whose generosity would surprise most. He rarely met a stranger, and it could be said that the only thing larger than his personality was his heart. Wayne loved many things in life but most of all he loved his family and God. A man of deep faith and even deeper convictions, Wayne was a member of Foothills Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. He reveled in the fellowship of his church family and would often mention how much he enjoyed his Sunday School classes. Wayne's passion for fellowship and appreciation of brotherhood led him to join the fraternal organization known as the Freemasonry. He was a dedicated member of Lindsey Lodge #292 and held a perpetual membership with the lodge.

Wayne lived life to the fullest and his passion lives on in his family. He is survived by his wife Wilma (Vickers) Moore whom he married August 8, 1961, daughter Delana Markay Moore, two grandsons William Samuel Wayne Berry, and William Elliot Maxwell Berry; three sisters: Phyllis Holt and Jane Freeze of Mountain View, and Mavis Canard of Texas, and his faithful Chihuahua dog, Taco.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Pauline (Morrison) Moore.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, June 21, 2019 at Roller Crouch Chapel. Funeral service will be 2 PM Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Foothills Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Medley and Dr. James Zini officiating. Interment will follow the service at Cove Cemetery with Military Honors and Masonic rights.

Pallbearers are Max Berry, Sam Berry, Randy Berry, Todd Canard, Mickey Freeze, and Nelson Wrinkle. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. James Zini, Jim Rorie, Wayne's Sunday School Class of Foothills Baptist Church, and the 1960 Timbo High School graduating class.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

Please accept my sympathy. Wayne was a kind neighbor...Spike got us in contact with Wayne. He and you, Wilma, were kind to Jim as dementia took control. Sorry for your loss.
