J.D. Stewart, 82, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on March 10, 2019 at Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View, Arkansas. J.D. was born on May 25, 1936 in Luber, Arkansas to the late Oscar and Roxie (McMahan) Stewart. J.D. worked for many years as a car salesman and attended School Avenue Church of Christ. He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
J.D. is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Dorothy (Richardson) Stewart; three sons, John Stewart and wife Karen, Randy Stewart, and Kevin Stewart and wife Tanya; one brother, Junious Stewart and wife Edna; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; brother-in-law, Ralph Richardson and many extended family and friends.
J.D. was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Roxie (McMahan) Stewart; two sons, Terry and Bradley Stewart: an infant granddaughter Leslie, and two brothers, Ruben and Ben Stewart.
Visitation for J.D. will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, 1:00-2:00 PM at School Avenue Church of Christ in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 PM with Brothers Finis Brewer and David Campbell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Mason Stewart, Marshall Stewart, Michael Everett, Keith Everett, Jerry May, and Fred Fletcher. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Green, Joe Kirby, Mark Wilson, Danny Shepherd, Eldo Fletcher, and Dr. Andy.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
