I’m Shirley Gorder’s daughter. My husband and I and our daughter,Karen (who has remained in communication with the Nesbitt family), have wonderful memories of Howard, Grace, and the entire family. Knowing all of you and experiencing life on Herpel Road has enriched our lives. We will always remember Howard and Grace, their kindness, their hospitality and their willingness to embrace our little group of outsiders from another area of the country and make us feel like we belonged as we shared life along the beautiful Rocky Bayou. We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Know we will always treasure memories of your entire family.

For several years we had the privilege of having many visits with Howard. We treasure those times. He was one of the finest men we ever knew. We will not be able to be at the funeral services but know that our hearts are with you. Rest in peace, Howard & peace be with you to his family,

We can trust in God to fulfill his purpose because, "Not a promise failed out of all the good promises that Jehovah had made to the house of Israel; all of them came true." So what kind of reputation does God establish? God is full of promises and we can count on him.
