Judy Jeffries, 75, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at White River Health Care in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Judy was born on June 2, 1943 in Swifton, Arkansas to the late Gordon and Mattie (Wells) Read. Judy was a member of Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church for many years. Judy loved playing bingo among many hobbies and worked for many years as a cashier around several stores in Mountain View including Wilson's and Hilltop. Judy's pride and joy were her grandchildren, until she had great-grandchildren both of which she cherished. Judy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Judy is survived by two sons, Bobby Sartin and wife Melissa and Tony Jeffries; three daughters, Renae Moreland and husband Al, Terry White, and Tammy Crutchfield and husband Charles; two brothers, Frankie Ray Read and Jerry Read; twelve grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren; as well as her second family at White River Health Care in Calico Rock who took tremendous care of Judy and loved her like one of their own.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Mattie (Wells) Read; beloved husband, James Jeffries; son, Dennis Sartin; three brothers and five sisters.
Visitation is Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 10:00 11:00 AM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 AM with Brother David Campbell officiating. Interment will be at East Richwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Al Moreland, Steven Whitney, Butch Brownlee, Terry Phillips, Greg Krug, and Devin Jeffries. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Hatfield and Brady Swaite.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 1001.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
Judy you will be missed by many. You had a smile for everyone and a contiguous laugh that won't be fogotten. Enjoyed knowing you dear friend. RIP sweet Judy. Hugs and love.
