Captain David M. Records, USAF, Ret. 84, of Southaven, Mississippi passed away on September 30, 2018 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi. David was born on March 21, 1934 in Iowa City, Iowa to the late Edwin and Kathryn L. Records. David was a retired Captain in the United States Air Force and served his country during the Vietnam War. David was of the Episcopalian faith and will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
David is survived by his wife of 59 years Gloria Marlene (Jaynes) Records of Southaven, Mississippi; one son, Mark Records and wife Rhonda of Fort Worth, Texas; step-son, Craig Cook and wife Christie of Cave City, Arkansas; one daughter, Jaymi Krosky and husband Mike of Denver, Colorado; one sister, Sara Fister; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; along with many extended family and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Kathryn L. Records; two brothers, Jim and Bud Records, and two sisters, Judy and Joann.
Visitation is Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services are Thursday, October 4, 2018, 2:00 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas with Brother Junior Barham officiating. Interment will follow the services at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas with full military honors provided by the United States Air Force Funeral Honors Team.
Pallbearers are the United States Air Force Funeral Honors Team.
